This handcrafted Black Walnut square dropped-winged bowl is a beautifully sculpted fusion of form and function. Meticulously turned from a single piece of domestic Black Walnut, the bowl features a rounded central basin that flows into subtly angled, dropped square wings, giving the piece a striking yet soft architectural feel.
 
Finished with walnut oil to enrich the wood’s natural depth and grain, and then buffed to a satin sheen with carnauba wax, the surface is silky smooth and subtly radiant—bringing out the dark, chocolate-brown hues and occasional golden highlights that make walnut so treasured.
